Hislop & Co has a dedicated Tree Surgery Division with the specialist ‘knowledge and knowhow’ to deliver all aspects of arboriculture. We aim to keep all residential gardens safe from hazardous trees and remain aesthetically pleasing.

Each piece of work is as unique as the tree itself. Our tree surgeons will provide advice and communicate the steps required to manage your garden’s trees in a safe, aesthetic and legally legitimate way. We will also arrange for any necessary checks & permissions with local authority; inclusive in our residential tree surgery services.

Additionally, all site staff are DBS checked and are provided with specific training for the use of specialist equipment. This includes, chainsaws, chippers and stump grinders. In addition, all Hislop & Co.’s arboricultural management staff holds professional tree inspection qualifications. In doing so, we are able to carry out detailed tree inspections and write recommendation reports. Our Team Leaders also hold a formal qualification in arboriculture to help advise our clients on specialist pieces of work.

Training is provided by accredited third parties and in-house by our own Health and Safety Officer. This training is in areas such as first aid, manual handling and driver awareness.
