Hedge Cutting at Hislop & Co
Staff at Hislops & Co are trained in the use of a variety of hedge cutting equipment and how to work safely at height. This ensures that the work is carried out to a professional standard with a priority on safe working, benefitting both our staff and our clients.
We use large custom built “A frame” ladders and pole hedge cutters to ensure that we can efficiently and safely cut hedges at height to give them a professional finish.
Whether you have a small garden hedge or grounds with large perimeter hedges; pristine shaped hedges or wild hedgerows, we can maintain them for you. No matter how high or wide we will keep your hedges looking managed.
It can take a long time for a hedge to grow and mature. We pride ourselves on the experience we have in maintaining and shaping specimen hedges which can give a wow factor to gardens or grounds alike. To ensure that we comply with the appropriate legislation we take care not to cut hedges when bird nesting is taking place. We recommend that cutting hedges is avoided between March and June as this is the main breeding season for nesting birds.
